Forest Walk Interpretive Trail

Forests have sustained life on earth from time immemorial.  They supply food, medicine, energy, shelter, wood and non-wood products.  All species of plant life are used in some way by humans and wildlife.  A working knowledge of some of our important and beautiful forest trees can be both useful and fascinating.

Several nature walks and trails cross the domain of the Trust.  On Forest Walk Interpretive Trail it is possible to see over 40 different kinds of trees, each with identification signs linking values and usages between our wildlife and ourselves.  A Forest Walk Interpretive Trail brochure is available for you at the Learning Centre.
